at the Big Timber Civic Center
The 2013 Health and Community Resource Fair links Sweet Grass County and surrounding areas directly to resources, information, providers and regional professionals, all in one place. This is a free, family-friendly educational event, and lots of fun!
Last year's fair saw close to 300 community members and 50 exhibitors, providers, and vendors.
The focus of this event is to address all areas of wellness through free or low cost screenings, demonstrations, hands-on educational activities as well as a variety of informational booths designed to enrich human well-being. Families and individuals attend the fair for skin cancer screenings, fitness and nutrition information, hearing tests, kid’s fitness and literacy activities, financial planning, free health-related literature, lifestyle enhancement products, home safety tips and much more. It is also a great opportunity for networking and collaboration among the wellness-focused exhibitors who participate.
In one short morning citizens are exposed to the many resources that are available them within the community and surrounding area. Thanks to the support of our partnering sponsors, and the cooperation of many local and regional organizations, businesses, agencies and health care providers, the annual Health and Community Resource Fair is making a difference in the well-being of our rural community.
